Windstorm Damage to Stanley Park

Update: Restoration is well underway.  Our trees have begun to find homes in the park, to be followed by shrubs and understory plants in the spring.

We were heartbroken to see the level of destruction in Vancouver's beloved Stanley Park. So to do our part, NATS Nursery has offered to donate and deliver some 500-1.25M to 1.5M  tall trees and 3000 seedlings to the reforestation effort. These indigenous species will assist the Stanley Park Restoration Team to repair some of the damage caused by record-high winds. (See the destruction here.) This gift has a value of $13 500 and reflects our passion to do our part to help restore Stanley Park to it's former majesty so that future generations can enjoy the urban forest, that has meant so much to all of us in our lives.

To contribute to the Tree Canada BC Coast ReLeaf Fund which will help replant trees in Stanley Park, visit www.tcf-fca.ca.
